Lexus to Launch Vehicle Lineup in Turkey
Foreign shores are calling and Lexus is answering their call. After much talk it has been made official that Turkey will be the next home of Lexus brand. Lexus will be launching in the country later this year in the 4th quarter, with plans to open more dealerships in the years to come.
With an introduction approaching the Lexus brand has decided they will display their lineup for the first time in Turkey at the popular 2015 Istanbul Auto Show. The show, which is similar to other auto shows like the Chicago Auto Show here in the Midwest, will take place from May 22-31st at the Tüyap Fair Convention and Congress Center. Lexus will be participating at the show alongside familiar brands like Kia, Mazda, Subaru, Jeep, Ford, and Honda to name a few. “This puts Turkey in the top 7 in Europe,” said Alain Uyttenhoven, Head of Lexus Europe. “We are therefore extremely happy to launch Lexus in this strategic emerging market, together with our partner, Toyota Turkey Marketing and Sales.” Lexus is projecting Turkey’s premium car sector to jump from 80,000 units to over 100,000 units annually very soon.

With the renewal of the product range and the introduction of new 2.0I turbo engine options, we believe that this is the most appropriate timing to enter the market.
