Clint Dempsey Does Trick Shots on Lexus Cars
United States National Team captain and Seattle Sounders FC forward Clint Dempsey recently teamed up with Sports Illustrated and Lexus to create one of the sickest trick shot videos yet, as Dempsey assisted some trick shots on Lexus cars while they scored some goals of their own.
When Tottenham fans remember Clint Dempsey’s time in the Premier League they remember a player who was best on his own. His unique ability to seemingly create goals out of nothing endeared him to everyone.
Dempsey, with the aid of some brand new vehicles from Lexus, decided to show off his soccer skills by kicking balls between cars into goals and even kicking balls off cars that were traveling full speed into goals.
The most unreal thing that Dempsey did in the video was kick the ball through the sunroof of a moving car. The fact that anyone can do that is just mind boggling. Dempsey’s precision and accuracy were on full display as he showed off just exactly what he can do with his feet.
With skills like that, it’s easy to see why Dempsey is the captain of the United States. Unfortunately, it’s a shame that he can’t play with some vehicles from Lexus while out on the field.
At any rate, it’s clear that Dempsey would’ve scored quite a few more goals if he could’ve played up top with a couple of pimped out Lexus cars. Just chalk it up as another failing for people like Daniel Levy and Jurgen Klinsmann that they never surrounded Dempsey with the type of talent he really needed to reach his full potential.
