Lexus Sees New Success With RC 350 Super Bowl Presentation
We are more than happy to announce that it looks like the results of the big game are coming up in our favor after this year’s competition! Reports from Kelley Blue Book’s analysis of the most-searched-for new car models following the commercial presentations made during Super Bowl XLIX have shown that the new Lexus RC 350 led the pack in model-specific activity on the trusted automotive information source’s website, as compared to the ten other specific models advertised during the game. It may not seem like much in comparison to the excitement of the game itself, but we thought it was worth cheering about!
Just in case you missed the first chance to get acquainted with the sleek new Lexus RC family, which also includes the continuously variable transmission V6 300h and the high-performance V8 RC F, you can still catch the original presentation, which Karl Brauer, senior analyst for Kelley Blue Book’s KBB.com, called an “automotive ballet between real and remote-controlled Lexus coupes.”

To get a little bit more personal, though, we can dive in and take a deeper look at the RC 350’s 3.5-liter, 306-horsepower 2GR-FSE V6 engine, available all-new touch pad interface, combined Lexus Dynamic Handling system, and eight-speed sport direct-shift transmission. Looking at specs like those offered by the whole RC family, it’s no wonder that Lexus is anticipating a personal record-setting year.
According to Kelley Blue Book, in December 2014, Lexus’ average transaction price rose 2.4 percent from a year earlier, a promising upturn that comes fresh on the heels of Lexus General Manager Jeff Bracken’s bold announcements of the company’s intentions to achieve a new personal best in 2015, specifically with a nine percent sales increase to a record 340,000 cars sold.
