Lexus NX Models Getting a Few Key Upgrades
Those over at Lexus have gone above and beyond, so to speak, with regard to a handful of upgrades to various models that was just announced by the automaker not too long ago, but a particular interest should most certainly be paid to what the automaker has in store for the Lexus NX 300h. That is to say, what is in store as far as upgrades is concerned for the Lexus NX 300h has most fans of the vehicle salivating over the news.
The definitive details are still trickling in, but here is what we know so far: Lexus announced a Sport variant of the NX SUV that comes with a plethora of updates. As far as the exterior is concerned, the Lexus NX Sport boasts a new set of 18-inch alloy wheels, some sleek looking black mirrors, as well as a matching black finished spindle grille design. When it comes to the vehicle’s interior, the new Lexus NX Sport comes with the likes of matching black leather upholstery (that also has some very nice looking aluminum highlights), as well as heated front seats. Not to mention, there is a new safety kit that has a pre-crash system and adaptive cruise control as a standard feature. Too, there are the likes of an 8-inch navigation screen, DAB radio, auto lights and wipers, and climate control. That is certainly not all, though. No, there are a good amount of new colors that Lexus added to the NX range as well. These include the likes of Azure Blue and Solar Flare, which sound incredible (especially Solar Flare).
Another huge update Lexus NX models is the introduction of the Premier pack option that adds a ton of top notch equipment to the mix. (Note, this option is also available with regard to Lexus’ RX models as well.) This package works to add a navigation system, a 14-speaker sound system, a heads-up display, a heated steering wheel, and adaptive suspension. Too, customers who are interested will also get the pleasure of auto high beams, lane keep assist, and rear cross traffic alert safety systems.
Of course, all of these updates are huge with regard to all of us Lexus fans, but they are also good as far as business goes for the automaker. Essentially, the technology is so trusted and perfected, that pretty much every upgrade will be as close to perfect as we can possibly get right now.
