Lexus Named Top Luxury Brands for Projected Resale Value
Kelly Blue Book recently revealed their top picks for the top luxury brand for resale value 2016 and at the top of their list, Lexus. Every year Kelly Blue Book compiles the top vehicles in each of their sales categories with emphasis on the resale value of the vehicles over the first five years of vehicle life. This award is nothing new to the luxury brand who has graciously accepted it for five years running now. The Best Resale Value awards were first given out by Kelly Blue Book in 2003.
Overall for the 2016 awards, Lexus topped all other brands with six of their vehicles taking awards home in their respective categories. The closest finisher was Toyota with five vehicles. According to Kelly Blue Book this decision wasn’t very hard stating “The entire Lexus brand is built on a foundation of quality, durability, and reliability that fortifies every facet of its appeal. Comfortable, quiet and safe, today’s Lexus cars and SUVs are increasingly stylish and engaging, too.” This positive review of the luxury brand may be nice to hear, but Kelly Blue Book’s awards are numbers based and Lexus clearly has the goods to back it up. From entry level to luxury full-size SUV crossover, Lexus dominated segment after segment. Here is the rundown of each category win and the vehicle that secured the top spot for the Lexus brand.

- Best Resale Value: Luxury Mid-Size SUV/Crossover- GX 460 luxury utility vehicle
- Best Resale Value: Luxury Full-Size SUV/Crossover- LX 570 luxury utility vehicle
