The Lexus All-New Subscription Service with the First-Ever Lexus UX
As an industry leader, we’re always striving to be the very best in our field. Whether it’s through modern design, innovative tech, or high-quality construction, we take pride in offering people a contemporary, cohesive vehicle that matches their fast-paced lifestyle. So developing a brand new car subscription service to go along with new Lexus models like the elegant, head-turning Lexus UX, as was recently announced late March, felt like a no brainer. The luxury service won’t be available until the end of the year, but will offer buyers a model that has a look, drive, and plan that reflects the modern, adventurous life our buyers live. Here, we’re giving you an exclusive look into Lexus’s latest move in groundbreaking auto-technology.
Modern, Functional, and Accessible
The bold new ride will be offered in two different forms, UX200 and UX250h, fit for the adventurer in all of us. “The first-ever Lexus UX is designed for the modern, urban explorer seeking a fresh, contemporary and dynamic take on luxury driving,” said Chika Kako, chief engineer of the UX. “We designed the UX to appeal to buyers in their 30s who seek not only what is new and exciting, but what is also relevant to their lifestyles.” And while there are still details to be released, and we always like to keep an air of mystery for an exciting finished-product reveal, what Lexus dealers can tell you is that the new vehicle, and service introduced alongside it, seamlessly incorporates upscale design with modern media functionality.
Meet the First-Ever Lexus UX
The Lexus UX compact luxury crossover comes with tech-savvy options including Apple CarPlay incorporation, to allow the popular smartphone’s apps to be accessed from the interior Infotainment screen. And the UX will also feature Amazon Alexa integration for a smooth, hands-free way to access music, audiobooks, home devices, and more.
Design wise, the front-wheel drive UX 200 boasts a 2.0 liter, four-cylinder engine with a smooth Direct-Shift transmission system; and the UX 250h features the same drive technology with an all-wheel drive. But the dynamic engineering doesn’t stop there. The Lexus model shows off the brand’s first use of the Global Architecture Compact Platform (GA-C). This structure ties together an elegant, smooth ride, precise handling, and a drive that reflects—and anticipates—the driver’s habits and steering.
To Be Released at the End of the Year
The Lexus UX will wrap up the end of the year with availability beginning in December. And with it comes the new subscription plan in addition to familiar offers like flat payment and leasing. And as we get closer to the release date, search our site to find a Lexus dealer near you or a 2018 Lexus near you to be sure you’re at the top of the list to test the latest Lexus creation, just in time for the holidays.
